So my hotel is hijacking dns and attempting to redirect all the major pages to their own servers... which are down. I wrote them a slightly threatening letter and so I might get my net access cut off (I mean, they are doing something basically illegal). Don't worry if you don't hear from me for another 6 days :)
PS - For you non-techies (Hi mom!) it means that when i type in www.google.com instead of going to google, they try to send me to their own webpage.... which fails because their webpage is down. It'd be like me putting up a sign that says mcdonalds on my house and covering up the closest mcdonalds... only to obviously not sell burgers because i think mcdonalds is gross, but the normal mcdonalds can't get any business!
